The bottom line with MeloYelo is this: We want the happiest, most satisfied customers in the business.
With this in mind, our warranty covers your frame for 6 years, and everything else for 3 years. That’s up to 2 years longer than any of our competitors.
Of course, with such an industry-leading warranty, you would expect there to be some terms and conditions. And, you’d be right. Here they are:
• Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, nor does it cover accidents or misuse;
• To qualify for the 3-year warranty, you must:
o Register your MeloYelo ebike at the time of purchase. Go to https://meloyelo.nz/registration/
o Have a free service check performed within either 6 months or 500kms, whichever comes first. You will
receive an email from MeloYelo 6 months following the date of your warranty registration, reminding you to
book your service check. You must provide MeloYelo with proof that this service check has been performed.
o Have a service check 12 months following the date of your warranty registration
o Have another service check 24 months following the date of your warranty registration
• Think of these service checks as like a Warrant of Fitness inspection. If they identify issues that need to be
addressed and they are not covered by warranty then you may incur a cost for parts and/or labour
• Failure to follow the process outlined above may void your warranty.
If you have a problem with your MeloYelo e-bike, your first action should be to get in touch with the MeloYelo agent who sold you the bike. Our agents not only make sales, they also deliver top quality after-sale service.
We carry a wide range of spare parts here in NZ, and seldom is there an instance when we are not able to supply the required parts within days. (If for any reason we do not have the required spare part(s) in stock, then we will have them airmailed to us from our supplier.) Upon receiving the part(s), your agent will fit the new part(s) to your bike, test it, and return the bike to you.
If you are not able to get in touch with your agent then please send an email to us: andy@meloyelo.nz
