Tranzit MD (Mid-drive) E-Bike

I bought my Tranzit in December and love it! I ride a little around town but mostly do long rides around the harbour (Wellington :)) and go up and down hills. I love the power for going up hills and getting home, I live on top of a hill! Being able to adjust the seat and handbars means I can sit upright when I want to, love it! Service around the country is awesome too, had to get an adjustment in Timaru and the agent was lovely and very helpful. Recommend it to anyone who needs extra power.

I love my Tranzit. I ride the bike trails around here and I can go much further that what I could go with my previous e bike.

I sold my motorcycle to purchase my Melo Yelo. Mostly use it to ride around town. Have a carrier bag with attached saddle bags for my shopping. Sometimes I have shopping to do, other times it’s a ride purely for the fun. And it is such fun, absolutely love it.

I bought my tranzit in2021 and have used it for exercise and fun rides on the river cycle track. I love my bike it is so easy to ride.

My tranzit enables me to spread my wings further than before as I had only a pushbike before, but no car. There are plenty of steep hills in Nelson that I can now go up! The bike goes well and the red colour looks good.

Thoroughly enjoy riding my Tranzit. I mainly use it on the Te Awa River trail on weekends. Looking forward to exploring more trails. Highly recommend this bike.

My blue transit is fantastic, I’m away on holiday on our bus right now, Traveling all over the North Island, we’ve taken our Mellow yellow bikes and are riding some fantastic trails. I’m not a very confident rider, but there are lots of level one trails, just right for me. I’m definitely getting the hang of it. I’ve got heart failure, and I find the Trazit just perfect for me, hardly any effort, the bike does all the work. I love it.

I did quite a bit of research before deciding on my electric bike. It travels with me on the back of my motor home each time I am away. My bike is so sturdy that it survived being on the back of my now ‘deceased’ motorhome after a head on collision being hit by a drunk driver and rolling sideways into the ditch. I had it (the bike of course) checked and apart from a small buckle in the tyre rim the bike survived an horrific motorhome accident. I would also like to say it was on an electric bike rack. This bike has enabled me to get back riding as soon as it was checked. Probably not something I would have been able to do on a ‘normal’ bike. It has helped me in my recovery. Hutt River Trail is my favourite.

My hubby brought my bike for us to cycle while we were heading to parts of the South Island last year. Nigel who we brought them off was amazing. He assembled my bike, set up specs to suit me and dropped in home with it. He walked me through all the features plus checked all was set to my height and liking. He watched me ride it to ensure all was perfect and I was happy with the purchase. I was never into biking as much as I am now. Love all the extras you can buy to make it as comfy as you want. Had a couple of falls when I first got it due to not being confident enough but now I feel so much safer. Time and patience is the answer to success and not trying to crawl before you can walk. Its so great to be able to share a pleasant ride with hubby anytime we can head out on them. Thank you Melo Yelo

This is the best Ebike I have owned so far – it is my third – and my first MeloYelo. I wanted the flexibility of being able to ride in town and on rougher trails and still feel safe. It is very comfortable and very manoeuvrable – much more than my first two. Computer is easy to manage. Ken, the agent, was extremely helpful and I was able to try all the models before selecting this one. He gave me very thorough tuition in how to use the computer and how to get the best from the cycle. His after-sales service has been excellent. I use it nearly every day for errands, fun and exercise. This will be my go-go brand from now on. Bonus points for making a bright red cycle!!
