Meet Cade

Cade has been married for 15 years and has a 5 year old daughter. He grew up in Whangarei, lived in Auckland for 10 years and now Papamoa for the last 3 years. Cade has been a mechanic for 28 years and works full time for a local garage in Papamoa.
He loves to play and collect guitars and has been a muso all his life. Cade has also had bikes his whole life and loves to get out for a ride in the forest once and a while to find that peace and quiet.
In keeping a lookout for that next thing to get ahead, he stumbled across a post advertising an opportunity to become a MeloYelo e-bike agent for the Papamoa/Mt Maunganui region and thought that might be pretty cool… and the rest is history!

I visited Cade to test ride a bike, I had never ridden an E-bike before. I was impressed by his professionalism , knowledge and his laid back personality, I never felt hurried and he came out on the test ride with me which was excellent. I actually rode 2 models but purchased the new supertrail which is a great bike, heavier but rides and handles superbly . His after service is second to none. I can not speak higher of Cade . Excellent service very happy.

I visited Cade as I was looking at getting a Superlite ebike as my previous one was too heavy for me. He has provided the best service I have had from an agent and really knows his stuff. Great Agent. Great Bike. My need was for a bike to use for exercise for the over 80s. Walking is out, joints cant take the hammering. Cycling is definitely smooth exercise. The Townie 2 was a great choice. Excellent value for the money and as I live in a fairly hilly part of Tauranga I have the assistance of the E power for when the incline gets too steep for my old thigh muscles. In time I will require less and less E-assistance. Gear changing and synchronizing the power input is soon mastered to give a smooth ride. I'm really chuffed with the bike and it looks cool in Lime -green. Vera was very helpful in my selection and not pushy. Thanks Vera.

If you're looking to buy an eBike I would highly recommend talking to Vera and the team at MeloYelo Papamoa. Vera tells you all about the bikes in plain jargon free language so you can understand why and how a MeloYelo eBike would be right for you. The bike came with all the extras that I would otherwise have had to purchase separately for most other bikes. We live in a hilly area and the motor and battery have no problem powering up the hills, even without pedaling. For those anxious about running out of power part way through a ride, we have (the wife is a proud owner too) done 36kms and just come off full battery. Picked up my new Traverse MD on Tuesday from Papamoa and immediately rode 30 kms home to Tauranga. Vera Nelson was great to deal with through the buying process. I'm now looking forward to tackling hills I couldn't manage on a conventional bike!
