Meet Cade

Cade has been married for 15 years and has a 5 year old daughter. He grew up in Whangarei, lived in Auckland for 10 years and now Papamoa for the last 3 years. Cade has been a mechanic for 28 years and works full time for a local garage in Papamoa.
He loves to play and collect guitars and has been a muso all his life. Cade has also had bikes his whole life and loves to get out for a ride in the forest once and a while to find that peace and quiet.
In keeping a lookout for that next thing to get ahead, he stumbled across a post advertising an opportunity to become a MeloYelo e-bike agent for the Papamoa/Mt Maunganui region and thought that might be pretty cool… and the rest is history!

I visited Cade to test ride a bike, I had never ridden an E-bike before. I was impressed by his professionalism , knowledge and his laid back personality, I never felt hurried and he came out on the test ride with me which was excellent. I actually rode 2 models but purchased the new supertrail which is a great bike, heavier but rides and handles superbly . His after service is second to none. I can not speak higher of Cade . Excellent service very happy.

Great Agent. Great Bike. My need was for a bike to use for exercise for the over 80s. Walking is out, joints cant take the hammering. Cycling is definitely smooth exercise. The Townie 2 was a great choice. Excellent value for the money and as I live in a fairly hilly part of Tauranga I have the assistance of the E power for when the incline gets too steep for my old thigh muscles. In time I will require less and less E-assistance. Gear changing and synchronizing the power input is soon mastered to give a smooth ride. I'm really chuffed with the bike and it looks cool in Lime -green. Vera was very helpful in my selection and not pushy. Thanks Vera.

If you're looking to buy an eBike I would highly recommend talking to Vera and the team at MeloYelo Papamoa. Vera tells you all about the bikes in plain jargon free language so you can understand why and how a MeloYelo eBike would be right for you. The bike came with all the extras that I would otherwise have had to purchase separately for most other bikes. We live in a hilly area and the motor and battery have no problem powering up the hills, even without pedaling. For those anxious about running out of power part way through a ride, we have (the wife is a proud owner too) done 36kms and just come off full battery. Two days ago a picked up my new MeloYelo Superlite from MeloYelo Papamoa. Well the experience was really very good indeed. Vera’s knowledge of her product is excellent. With the help of the wonderful Mike who set up the bike for me following my specifications, I can only say that I would recommend them to anyone who wants to go the e-bike route. They went above and beyond. Yesterday I did a 20 km ride around a very hilly Whangamata and was duly impressed with the Superlite. It’s my second e-bike but certainly for me the better one. Once again thanks and see you for the first service.

Recently purchased a melo yelo ebike from Vera In Papamoa . She was very informative and had brought a variety of bikes to a motorhome rally in Whakatane where we could test ride them at ease . As soon as I arrived at Vera's place I could see the quality of the bikes. Vera then went on to explain everything to me and after my test ride I was more than impressed with the simplicity to operate the bike. I didn't even try to negotiate anything because after checking out all the other electric bikes on the market , I found that MeloYelo to be an excellent buy. After riding from Te Puna to Omokoroa and return, the battery was still on full charge. I personally believe that these are value for money and if not undervalued. Vera's service and knowledge was outstanding and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an ebike Thanks Athol.

I researched e-bikes for many weeks before deciding on a MeloYelo. My decision was based, not only on the bike, but Rob McEwen's commitment to our environment, and education, through his EVolocity Charitable organisation. So, I made an appointment with Vera - I didn't have a model in mind, I just knew, I would find the right one. And I did ! No "salesy" pitches, no judgements, no steering me towards a higher priced product, and no rushing off pandering to other customers...I liked that. Actually, chatting with Vera was like having a cuppa with an old friend. I felt relaxed and unrushed, I rode the bike in a normal environment on suburban streets, Vera patiently explained, in detail, all I needed to know about the bike...and believe me, Vera knows her bikes and her business.
