Founded in 2016 to help raise money for the EVolocity electric vehicle programme in NZ schools, MeloYelo has grown to more than 4000 customers, most of whom would best be described as “raving fans.”

The best test rides in the business. It’s not uncommon for a MeloYelo test ride to involve an hour of riding – away from busy streets. Our agents
will even ride along with you and make suggestions and adjustments along the way. Even if you haven’t been on a bike in years, they will gently help you regain your riding confidence, so that you too can get the “ebike smile.”

: A larger battery. All of our trail ebikes come with 630 watt-hour batteries – 26% more capacity than most ebikes – which means you can ride further and not worry about running out of juice;

: Mudguards, lights and carrier. (Elsewhere, you’ll pay hundreds of dollars to buy these and have these fitted;

: An industry-leading 3-year warranty on mechanical and electrical components. Ts and Cs apply)

: Thumb throttles on most models, great for giving you extra motor power when climbing steep hills;

: A nationwide service network. Let’s say you buy a bike in Auckland and then have a problem in Nelson. No problem – our agents work together like family to take care of all of our customers, regardless of where they may be in NZ

: A derailleur protector, which means that if your bike tips over, your gearing won’t suffer expensive damage;
