Shane has tinkered around with bikes from a young age & assembles, services & maintains the e-bike fleet. Gaye just loves riding & clocks up huge km every month. She specializes in helping retirees get back on a bike after many years of not riding.

Appreciated the knowledge and friendly patient service when purchasing my e-bike. Very impressed with Ebikes and Mobility in Paraparaumu. Gaye and the team looked after us really well, answered all of our questions and our resulting purchase (2 x MeloYelo Town n Trails plus accessories) was both affordable and comprehensive !! If you're in the market for an e-bike, they're well worth a visit and its always nice dealing with a smaller (non-chain) store too 🙂

I had gone and tried three different bike over a period of time. The staff was great about me taking the bikes for a test ride and after I decided on the one I wanted and I had gone to get it they went over everything with me about warranty etc and made sure that everything was fine after a test ride of it before I took it away. I would recommend they to anyone who needs to try the bike before buying it.

Feels a bit like cheating 😀, steep winding hills, no worries. Love this bike, makes riding very very enjoyable. Good, friendly service from Reg at the Clyde dealership. Also buying local is reassuring, easy to get serviced if & when required.

I am in my mid 60's & while I have biked in previous years, due to hip issues have found it increasingly harder to get out & ride. I purchase a Melo Yelo town & Trail in December 2021 and have since ridden 300kms on the bike. It has opened up a new world of experience, I live on the Kapiti Coast and riding the expressway track & other tracks around the area has been an enjoyable experience. The bike is superb to ride & while some friends have said it is a cheat to own an e bike, I know I would not have ridden the distances I have on a non e bike. Shane, the dealer in kapiti is very knowledgeable & a very helpful bloke to deal with.

My Melo Yelo Tranzit was put to the test when I rode the Titahi Bay to Pauatahanui inlet Which I might add for myself it was a very challenging ride, it had more puff than what I did.

I love my MeloYelo bike which is so easy to ride when it’s windy and also up the hill I live at the top of. I am impressed with the philosophy of the company and found trying the bike on a quiet country road at Dave’s place in Otaki made all the difference and gave me the confidence that I was purchasing a very good product. I haven’t yet got to my 500km for various reasons but when I do I shall be availing myself of the free service check. I have recommended MeloYelo to a number of people and have no hesitation in doing this. Great product, great company and the reps have great knowledge as they are bikers themselves.
