Meet Ben Hepburn

Two years ago, Kate and I bought a caravan and ventured far and wide. Being outdoorsy people, we spent many hours walking and exploring. We took our very second-hand bikes on tour. Many times we watched as ebikes rode past us and thought, “That’s cheating.”

Last year, we were lucky enough to visit our son and daughter-in-law in Santa Cruz. They gave us their e-bikes to explore the county, and we were amazed by the freedom and pure fun of biking in the sun, the rain, and the wind. We loved the accessibility of many places on and off the beaten track.

Needless to say, we were both hooked on how much fun biking is. It actually motivates you to just get out there and do it. When we came home, we wanted our own bikes. We researched what was available and found ourselves drawn to MeloYelo; the company’s ethos, history, and connection with EVolocity really stood out.
