How does a home test ride in Northland work?
Graham travels around Northland in his van, according to a pre-determined schedule. Let Graham know where you’re located, discuss the type of riding you will be doing and any budget considerations, and he will come to you with two or three different models to try. He’ll get you to sit on each bike, adjust the handlebars and saddle height as necessary, and then allow you to test-ride the bikes, in an area that you’re familiar with.
How far can a MeloYelo ebike go on a charge?
MeloYelo ebikes have larger batteries than most, which means you can ride further, without the fear of running out of juice. Our SuperLite and Town’nTrail models both have 630 watt-hour batteries which will deliver 85–90kms of range over easy terrain, and 50–60kms of range on off-road trails. (These numbers are estimates and can vary, depending on the amount of leg-power you provide.)
What does the 3-year warranty cover?
The warranty covers both electrical and mechanical components, however it does not cover normal wear and tear, nor does it cover misuse, abuse, or damage caused by accidents. You can learn more about MeloYelo’s industry-leading warranty here.
What if Graham is not available?
Every MeloYelo agent is backed up by:

Can I finance an ebike?
Yes. Talk to your MeloYelo agent about the financing options available.
Do you service my ebike after I buy?
Yes. As soon as you purchase your bike, you register it for warranty. Then, 6 months, 12 months and 24 months following your warranty registration, you will receive emails reminding you that it’s time to have your ebike serviced. From there, it’s a matter of arranging the service with your MeloYelo agent.
