Questions Before You Reserve
Is the $500 deposit refundable?
Yes it is. Your $500 deposit secures your spot as one of 50 Founders, receiving the Founder Edition Offer. This deposit is fully refundable, if for any reason you change your mind before receiving your bike.
What terrain is OffRode suitable for?
The OffRode ebike has been purpose-built to handle New Zealand’s backcountry, from hunting tracks to lifestyle blocks and everything in between. Featuring DRT 20x 4″ Custom offroad tyres, RST Guide front fork suspension with 36mm stanchion and the choice of three drive modes (front, back or both motors), it’s tough enough to keep up with whatever you throw at it.
How much gear can it carry?
Up to 200kg total of rider and gear. Front rack up to 30kg and rear rack up to 50kg.
When will the first OffRodes be delivered?
Delivery of the first shipment is scheduled for October 2026.
How does servicing and support work?
OffRode owners are supported by MeloYelo’s nationwide team of agents, who not only make sales but also deliver top quality after-sale service. You can also get in touch with our team via our 24/7 0800 number, staffed by real Kiwis.
We carry a wide range of spare parts here in NZ, and seldom is there an instance when we are not able to supply the required parts within days. Upon receiving the part(s), your agent will fit the new part(s) to your bike, test it, and return the bike to you.
Our industry-leading extended warranty covers you for 3 years or 3,000km, whichever comes first. To qualify for the 3-year/3,000km warranty, you must register your MeloYelo ebike at the time of purchase, have a free service check performed within either 6 months or 500kms, whichever comes first, and have further service checks performed at 12 and 24 months following the date of your warranty registration.
How does the prize draw to win an OffRode work?
This promotion runs from 01.07.26 to 01.11.26.
There are two ways to enter this prize draw. Test riding an OffRode at a demo event during the promotional period grants you one entry into the draw, and pre-ordering one of the first 50 OffRode bikes during the promotional period grants you five entries.
The winner will be randomly drawn from all entries on 02.11.26, and will be contacted directly by MeloYelo.
Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If the winner has already purchased an OffRode bike during the promotional period, they will be given the option to receive a refund on their purchase price, or receive a second OffRode ebike for free.
One test ride entry per person. Five pre-order entries per bike pre-ordered.
