Exploring New Zealand’s Trails
Through customer feedback, we have discovered some favourite trails among the MeloYelo community. These top trails include the Central Otago Rail Trail, Lake Dunstan, Great Taste Trail, Hauraki Rail Trail, Tongariro River Trail, Waikato River Trail, and Timber Trail. While we are particularly interested in stories, photos, and videos from these popular trails, we also welcome submissions about other lesser-known trails that have captivated you during your MeloYelo adventures.
Categories and Prizes
- Your Story in Words ($500 Prize):
Tell us about the trails you have explored in New Zealand and would recommend to others. Share how eBiking has allowed you to discover parts of the country that were once inaccessible to you. Discuss how embracing eBiking has improved your physical and mental well-being, especially if you have overcome mobility issues. Highlight the new friendships that have blossomed through your eBike journey. - Your Story in Words and Photos ($750 Prize):
Alongside your written entry, capture the essence of your adventure with visual storytelling. Share photos of yourself, preferably with fellow riders, as you traverse the trails on your MeloYelo eBike. These images will bring your story to life, showcasing the joy, camaraderie, and breathtaking scenery you’ve encountered. - Your Story in Video ($1000 Prize):
If you’re comfortable sharing your story through video, this category is for you. Alongside the points mentioned above, create a personal video featuring you and your MeloYelo eBike. Talk directly to the camera, sharing your experiences, and provide footage of you riding and exploring. Don’t worry about editing; we can handle that on our end.

Review and Usage:
Our team will review all the submitted stories, photos, and videos. We may make edits to the videos for potential use in social media content. Before utilisation, we will seek your approval for any edited videos. By participating in the competition, you grant MeloYelo the right to use your video for promotional purposes, following your review and approval of the edited version.
