Rob lives in Taupo. He was a founder and CEO of the NZ Clean Energy Centre in Taupo. That led to connections in the electric vehicle industry, and in 2011 he founded NZ’s electric vehicle Association (now Drive Electric). Two years later he founded EVolocity, a charitable organisation which runs a programme in over 100 schools around NZ in which teams of students design, build and compete in electric vehicles. He founded MeloYelo in 2016 as a means of helping to fund EVolocity. Today, Rob is Chairman of EVolocity and CEO of MeloYelo.
